Abstract

The purpose of this study is to attract attention to the functions and applications of the communicative method in reaching the ability to use language in their compulsory living spaces to meet their needs understanding and telling skills of students who want to learn Turkic as a second language. Students need to actively participate in the activities carried out in order to have the targeted achievements in the process of learning Turkish as a second/foreign language. Perhaps the most important is the communicative method, which is one of the effective methods that form the basis for students' participation in the activities as an active participant in the environments designed for this purpose. The achievements of basic language skills for students to use is the primary goal of the target language effectively besides acquire social skills in communicative method applications. In this study is mentioned the importance and function of the communicative method to be able to use the target language effectively and efficiently for those who want to learn Turkish.
