Abstract

The aim of the study is to examine semantically the sub-dimensions of receptive language and auditory perception of widely used language tests named are Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, Turkish Version of Test of Early Language Development, Turkish Expressive and Receptive Language Test, Turkish Version of Preschool Language Scale in our country. Document review design has been used in qualitative research approaches within the aim of the study. The data of the study were analyzed using the content analysis method. The Miles & Huberman (1994) formula was used to calculate the reliability of the study; and the reliability was found 90%. As a result of the study, it was determined that the target words in the four standard tests examined were selected from names, actions and concepts /adjectives, and the words. It has been determined that these words are also compatible with the literature.
