Abstract

Ali Puskulluoglu (1935-2008) as a poet, author, and philologist,  had been written in different kinds of literacy genres. However, he is mostly known by his poet and philologist persona. But Puskulluoglu had always seen himself as a poet and had wanted to be known as a poet. Ali Puskulluoglu had never desisted to describe nature with a plain language both in his times of being influenced by Garip trend and his later sociable poetry period. In his poems nature and patriotic love always coalesces. Roots of his poems reaches to his private life in special, and to the life in general. According to this non-urban life lover poet, summary of his poems are human and nature. Humanity moving away from nature becomes barren. Intangible concepts in his poems such as death, life, agony and sorrow, becomes tangible via metaphores from nature. Moreover in his sociable poems he tries to tell his ideas through examples from nature.
