Abstract

In every period, the dreams that people write about, are curious about, spoken about, written about is a phenomenon that can not be ignored by the literary and literary people who process it. In some work in our classical literature, it is seen that the motif of dream is given different forms and different purpose. Besides the things remembered in a seen dream, most of the time, things you would like to uther you wouldn’t, or things you wish but can’t become true, the stories can be told like seen in a dream. In this field, the first works coming to mind are “Hâb-nâme-i Veysi” of Üveys bin Mehmed from Alaşehir (died in 1037/1628) and “Hâb-nâme-i Haşmet (Intisâbü’l-Mülûk) of Mehmed Haşmet Efendi (died in 1182/1768-69). In this study, a poem entitled “Vâkı’a-nâme” belonging to unknown poet Nebîh was examined in a mecmua (poetry collection) enumerating with the number 06 Mil Yz FB 533/1 of the National Library and though this poem, hâb-nâme, vâkı’a-nâmes were taken and the transcribed version was given to the poetry and the contribution was made to the topic
