Abstract

In this study, the main objective is to give information about the functionalities of interactive applications which are used in learning French as a foreign language and which are thought to contribute positively to the development of vocabulary skill. There are many applications that can contribute to skills development activities on the web. These applications can be used both as in-class and out of class activities in the context of original and instructive material as an auxiliary course material. Especially, vocabulary skill which can directly or indirectly affect the development of basic language skills such as reading, speaking, listening and writing is very important for language learners. In our study, we intend to present examples of alternative skills activities for both language teachers and language learners by talking about the interactive applications and usage types developed for the development of French vocabulary skill.
