An Examination on the Texts in Secondary School Turkish Books


In this study, it is aimed that the preference of writer and poet of secondary school Turkish textbooks prepared by Ministry of Education for 2018-2019 academic year. A scanning model is a collection of ones document inspection technique. The descriptive analysis was used to analyze the research data. If there are sub-problems, the findings are in tables. 257 texts and 185 authors and poets were examined. Authors and poets are grouped into three categories (Turkish, Turkish Republics and Balkan Turks and foreigners). All of the texts in reading, listening/monitoring, independent reading, activity and theme evaluation questions - prose, poetry, documentary, short film regardless of- are included in the research.
