Abstract
Zonguldak, edebiyat ve sanat damarı açısından zengin şehirlerden birisidir. Şehir varlığı ve yokluğu, zenginliği ve yoksulluğu bir arada hem kent olarak hem birey olarak yaşamıştır. Modern Türkiye'nin sanayileşmesine katkıda bulunmuş, şehirlerin ve hızla büyüyen sanayi kapasitesinin enerji ihtiyacını karşılamıştır. Dahası, kömür madeni işçileri, sanayileşen Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nde tarımsal kökenli emeği sanayi üretimine katma girişimlerinde merkezî bir yer işgal etmiştir. Bu durumdan dolayı Zonguldak, zamanında, kömüre olan ihtiyaçlar ve iş imkanı dolayısıyla, kendi nüfusunun 2-3 katına ulaşmıştır. Öyle ki bu nüfus çokluğu ve iş imkanı Şehri o zamanların Türkiyesi’nin en gözde kentlerinden biri haline getirmiş ve canlılık kazandırmıştır. Bu canlılık sosyal, kültürel ve sanatsal alanda da kendini göstermiştir. Fakat daha sonraları kömüre olan ihtiyacın azalması ve birtakım sıkıntılar nedeniyle Zonguldak kenti eski şaşasını yitirmiş, bir bakıma artık kaderine teslim edilmiştir.
Hamit Kalyoncu üzerine daha önce yapılmış bir bilimsel çalışma yoktur, bu çalışma ilktir. Kalyoncu, “Sesim Kömür Karası” kitabında, Zonguldak’taki madencilerin ve Zonguldak halkının yaşamış olduğu zorlukları, hissettiği duyguları; korkularını, sevinçlerini, üzüntülerini anlatır. Kalyoncu’nun bu şiirler için “Zonguldaklı Şiirler” tabirini kullanmasının sebebi de bundandır.

ABSTRACT
Zonguldak is one of the cities rich in literature and art. From past to present, poetry, novels, essays, research and compilation articles; He experienced city existence and absence, wealth and poverty, both as a city and as an individual. It contributed to the industrialization of modern Turkey and met the energy needs of its cities and rapidly growing industrial capacity. Moreover, coal mine workers occupied a central place in the attempts to incorporate agricultural-based labor into industrial production in the industrializing Republic of Turkey. Due to this situation, Zonguldak reached 2-3 times its population due to the need for coal and job opportunities. So much so that this population abundance and job opportunities made the city one of the most popular cities in Turkey at that time and added vitality. This vitality has also manifested itself in the social, cultural and artistic fields. However, later on, due to the decrease in the need for coal and some problems, the city of Zonguldak lost its former glory and, in a sense, was surrendered to its fate.
There is no previous scientific study on Hamit Kalyoncu, this study is the first. In his book "My Voice is Coal Black", Kalyoncu describes the difficulties experienced by the miners in Zonguldak and the people of Zonguldak and the emotions they felt; tells about their fears, joys and sorrows.This is why Kalyoncu used the phrase "Poems from Zonguldak" for these poems.
