Abstract
Günümüzde teknolojinin hızla gelişmesi, bireylerin okuma eğilimlerini de farklı şekillerde etkilemektedir. Bireyler, son zamanlarda çoklu iş yapma olanağına sahip olma, herhangi bir mekân veya duruş zorunluluğuna bağlı olmama ve zamanlarını etkili bir şekilde kullanabilmek için okumadan ziyade sesli kitap ve podcastleri dinlemeye yönelmiştir. Bu çalışmada da daha önce sesli kitap ve podcast dinleme deneyimine sahip 13 üniversite öğrencisinin görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Veriler, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formuyla toplanmış ve MAXQDA 18 programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışma verilerine göre üniversite öğrencilerinin zamanı etkili kullanma, göz sağlığını koruma, belirli bir mekân veya duruş zorunluluğu olmaması, zihinsel faaliyetleri artırma ve odaklanmayı sağlama gibi çeşitli nedenlerle bu teknolojiden yararlandıkları tespit edilmiş, bu teknolojinin anlamayı sağlama, odaklanma kolaylığı, her yerde ulaşma imkânı gibi durumlarla basılı kitaplardan daha farklı yönlerinin olduğu dile getirilmiş, kurmacaya dayalı edebi metinlerin öğrenciler tarafından daha sık dinlenildiği görülmüştür. Ayrıca üniversite öğrencilerinin spor yaparken, eğlenirken, uyumaya çalışırken, ev işi yaparken sesli kitap veya podcast dinledikleri, sesli kitap ve podcastlerle çoğunlukla internet ortamında tanıştıkları ve konuşma ve dinleme becerileri üzerinde sesli kitap ve podcastlerin olumlu etkilerinin olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract
Today, the rapid development of technology is affecting individuals' reading habits in a variety of ways. Individuals have recently turned to listening to audiobooks and podcasts instead of reading in order to be able to multitask, not be bound by any location or posture, and use their time effectively. In this study, it was aimed to examine the opinions of 13 university students who have previously had experience listening to audiobooks and podcasts. The data were collected through a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers and analyzed using the MAXQDA 18 program. Content analysis was used to analyze the data. According to the study data, it was found that university students use this technology for various reasons, such as effective use of time, protecting eye health, not being bound by a specific location or posture, increasing mental activities, and providing focus. It was also mentioned that this technology has different aspects than printed books in terms of providing understanding, ease of focus, and the ability to access anywhere. It was seen that students listened to literary texts based on fiction more often. In addition, it was determined that university students listen to audiobooks or podcasts while exercising, having fun, trying to fall asleep, and doing housework. They mostly met audiobooks and podcasts online. It was also determined that audiobooks and podcasts have positive effects on speaking and listening skills.
