Abstract

Like as in many fields of education, some innovations are apparantly seen in Turkish education too. Till the very short time while the studies for Turkish education were rather limited, today we see that in that field many studies and effective researches are being carried out. It is necessary to use methods, suitable to constructive educational approach in order that Turkish education could be practised successfully. One of the approaches used in the field is drama. Drama method is to tell feelings or ideas through actions, mimics, gestures and words. In other words, it is the reanimation of a subject or a situation, the reflection them by living and converting them into a life. Since the aim of Turkish education is to improve understanding and narration skills, one of the best methods is drama. Like in every field, in drama field, bibliography has an importance place. In time, there has been a lack of finding resources for those who newly start drama, want to practice this method in Turkish lessons, wish to take place in this discipline or wish to use this discipline in different parts of the language. With the study, “a bibliographic essay on usage of drama in Turkish education”, it is aimed to make it for the shortage of the resources in this respect. The bibliographies in this study are classified according to the surnames of the authors under four basic titles as book, thesis, essay and paper. The works prepared until 2012 were included in the book and document studying from qualitative research methods was used in the study. Bibliographic works were designed according to chronological classification.
