Abstract

One of Max Frisch's masterpieces, a Homo Faber, is a work that articulates the alienation of one's self against the society and its environment. The phenomenon of alienation, which emerged in modern times and questioning man ontologically, reveals the defeat of foreign life forms while addressing the relations of the person as a subject. Homo Faber, reflecting the change and transformation of modern man as the textual face of a period, is a work that shows that identity is isolated from social features. In this novel Frisch shows how the questions of the modern age questioned his life by increasing one's existential concerns and concerns.
