Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı uluslararası hakemli dergilerde yayınlanmış olan makaleler üzerinden yazarların akademik yazma tercihlerini belirlemek, alan yazında söz konusu olan akademik yazma stillerinden daha sık başvurulanları ortaya koymaktır. Bu doğrultuda eğitim alanında açık erişimi bulunan European Journal of Education Studies, Eğitim ve Bilim; mühendislik alanında Journal of Electrical Engineering and Electronics Technology ve tıp alanında Translational Biomedicine dergilerinin son üç sayısında yayınlanan 55 makale araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Örneklemi çeşitlendirmek için farklı disiplinlerden seçilen makaleler alan yazında bahsi geçen akademik yazma özellikleri dikkate alınarak araştırmacılar tarafından adlandırılan üç stil yönünden tarama tekniği ile incelenmiştir. Akademik stil, nicel stil ve halkçı stil için araştırmacılar uzman görüşlerine dayanarak kriterleri oluşturmuştur. Araştırmaya konu stillerin sahip olduğu kriterlerin makalelerdeki örnekleri tespit edilmiş ve yoruma tabi tutulmuştur. Her bulgu ve yorum sonrasında uzman görüşleri alınmıştır. Uzman görüşlerine göre bulgular ve yorumları tekrar tekrar düzenlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak göre akademik stil ile nicel stilin dil özelliklerinin iç içe geçmiş olduğu, literatürde her ne kadar bu iki stil ayrılsa da sonuç olarak akademik ve nicel stillerin birbirinin yerini tutabileceği, halkçı stille ilgili incelemelerin akademi dışında daha genele hitap eden basılı kaynaklar üzerinden yapılması gerektiği, dergilerin geleneklerinin ve anlatım alışkanlıklarının yazarlara stil seçme belirleme konusunda geniş özgürlük alanı bırakmadığı görülmüştür.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the academic writing preferences of authors through articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and to identify those that are more frequently applied than the academic writing styles in question in field writing. 55 articles published in the last three issues of the European Journal of Education Studies, Eğitim ve Bilim, Journal of Electrical Engineering and Electronics Technology and Translational Biomedicine, which have open access in the field of different research areas, were included in the research. Articles selected from different disciplines in order to diversify the sample were examined by scanning technique in terms of three styles named by the researchers considering the academic writing characteristics mentioned in the literature. For academic style, quantitative style, and populist style, the researchers established criteria based on expert opinions. The examples of the criteria in the articles of the styles subject to the research were determined and subjected to interpretation. Expert opinions were received after each finding and comment. Findings and interpretations were arranged over and over again according to expert opinions. Accordingly, the quantitative features of academic language that is nested with the style style in literature style is also separated these two, as a result, the academic and quantitative styles that can hold each other's places, populist style-related print resources should be done through investigations of more general appeal outside the academy, the traditions and habits of the authors of journals extensive freedom in expression has been shown to left field.
