FUPRE Post UTME Screening Form 2025/2026

The management of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) has officially opened its admission portal for the 2025/2026 academic session. The FUPRE Post-UTME registration exercise commences on Sunday, 20th July, 2025. The closing date is on Friday 22nd August, 2025. All qualified candidates are invited to apply.

If you chose FUPRE as your first-choice institution in the 2025 UTME and scored 170 or above, you are welcome to apply for any course of your choice.

FUPRE Post-UTME Admission Requirements 2025/2026

You must meet the following conditions to be eligible to apply for the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun Post-UTME Screening for the 2025/2026 academic session:-

  •  You must have scored 170 or above in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  •  FUPRE must be your first choice institution during JAMB registration. If you initially chose another university, you must complete a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal and select FUPRE as your first choice before applying.
  • You must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.
  • You must be at least 16 years old by October 2025 to be eligible to apply.
  • Candidates awaiting their O’Level results can still apply, but they must indicate this properly during registration and upload their results on the JAMB CAPS portal as soon as they are released.

How to Apply for FUPRE Post UTME Form 2025/2026

If you meet the eligibility requirements for admission into the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), follow the steps below to successfully complete your Post-UTME application:-

Start by visiting the FUPRE admission portal and making a payment of the required application fee. You can choose one of two options:-

  • Online Payment: Use your ATM card (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve) to make payment directly on the application portal.
  • Bank Payment: Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number and take it to any commercial bank to make payment through the Remita platform.

Once your payment is successful:-

  • Go back to the application portal.
  • Fill out the application form carefully by providing all the required details, including your personal information, academic qualifications, and contact information.
  • Double-check your entries to make sure everything is correct.
  • Submit the form and print out your Application Confirmation Page. This page contains important details like your exam schedule, so keep it safe.

After completing your application:-

  • Login to your profile regularly to monitor the status of your application.
  • Any updates, such as examination schedule or further instructions, will be made available on your profile dashboard.

Note: The screening examination begins on Monday, 25th August, 2025. Be sure to check your confirmation page to know the exact date and time scheduled for you.

The deadline for the submission of the FUPRE Post-UTME application form for the 2025/2026 academic session is Friday, 22nd August, 2025. All interested candidates are strongly advised to complete their registration well before this closing date, as the application portal will be shut down at midnight.
