OAUSTECH Post-UTME Screening Requirements 2025/2026
Admissions at Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, are only offered to candidates who have proven beyond doubt that they are eligible for admission. The requirements they are expected to meet are as follows:-
- Candidates must have chosen OAUSTECH as their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored a minimum of 150 marks.
- Those who selected OAUSTECH as their second choice or did not choose the institution at all are strongly advised to visit the JAMB portal and change it to their first choice before applying.
- A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects—including English Language and Mathematic-, is required, and must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
Specific Programme Requirements
- Nursing Science: Applicants must score 180 and above in the 2025 UTME. They will participate in a screening exercise expected to be held in late September 2025 (exact date to be announced). Direct Entry is available only to graduates of the School of Nursing who have passed the Nursing Council examinations.
- Public Health: Candidates must also score 180 and above in the UTME and will be required to attend a screening in October 2025 (date to be confirmed). Please note that Direct Entry is not accepted for this programme.
- Agriculture: Courses like Agricultural Economics and Extension, Animal Production and Health, and Crop, Soil, and Pest Management are grouped under “Agriculture” on the JAMB portal. While registering on the university portal, you are required to select the specific course you wish to study under this category.
