Candidates who have chosen Lagos State University as their First Choice of institution in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and have scored a minimum of 195 marks are eligible to apply for admission.

Who Is Eligible to Apply for Admission into LASU?
If you want to study at Lagos State University Ojo, here are the important conditions you must meet before applying for the LASU Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for the 2025/2026 academic session:-
- You must have scored at least 195 in the 2025 UTME (JAMB).
- LASU must be your First Choice Institution on the JAMB portal.
- You must have at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in your WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE. These must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- You must also have the correct O’Level subjects required for your chosen course.
- All applicants must be at least 16 years old by October 31, 2025, to be considered for admission.
For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:-
- You must have chosen LASU as your First Choice during your Direct Entry registration with JAMB.
- You must have at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in your WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE. These must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- You are required to submit physical (hard copy) credentials to the LASU Admissions Office for verification.
- You must also meet the O’Level subject requirements relevant to your course.
How to Apply for LASU Post UTME Form 2025/2026
Follow the simple steps below to successfully apply for the LASU Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening for the 2025/2026 academic session:-
- Go to the official LASU website: www.lasu.edu.ng
- Hover your cursor over the “Student” menu and click on “New Applicants”.
- Click on “UTME/DE Screening” or go directly via https://lasu.edu.ng/admissionscreening
- Click on “UTME Candidate Login”, then enter your UTME Registration Number and Surname, and click Submit.
- Click the “Make Payment (Admission Screening)” button and fill in the required details.
- Once your payment is successful, go back to your dashboard.
- Click “Start Admission Screening” to begin. Your details will automatically appear.
- Choose whether you are applying via UTME or Direct Entry.
- Provide the Transaction ID generated during payment.
- Click Submit and proceed to complete your self-screening process.
Note: If you need to edit or correct any previously submitted details, you can repeat the process, but a correction fee will apply. If you wish to change your course of study, you will also need to go through the screening process again and make payment for the new screening attempt.
