The management of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has officially commenced the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission form for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who are interested in securing undergraduate admission into the university, whether through UTME or Direct Entry, are welcome to apply for the AKSU Post UTME Form 2025/2026.
The admission form costs ₦2,000, and registration is done entirely online via the Akwa Ibom State University Post UTME portal at www.aksu.edu.ng. Requirements For AKSU Post UTME Screening 2025/2026
All applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for admission into their various programs:-
- You must have selected AKSU as your first-choice university when registering for your 2025 UTME. Didn’t choose AKSU initially? You can still apply, but you must first do a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal before proceeding.
- You must have scored at least 150 in the 2025 UTME. This is the general cut-off mark for eligibility.
- You must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings in any of the following: WAEC, NECO, NABTEB.
- Your UTME subject combination must match the requirements for your chosen course. Using the wrong combination may disqualify your application.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the time of admission. Anyone below this age may not be considered.
- You should have a valid JAMB registration number and a printed JAMB result slip.
Direct Entry Applicants:-
If you are applying through Direct Entry, you must possess any of the following qualifications:
- National Diploma (ND)
- NCE
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc)

How to Apply for Akwa Ibom State University Post UTME Form 2025/2026
If you are ready to begin your AKSU application, follow these simple steps to complete your registration smoothly:-
- Visit https://www.aksu.edu.ng/app.
- Click on “Start Now” to begin your application.
- On the next page, click “Enrol”, then select “PUTME” as your application type.
- Enter your JAMB registration number and click the arrow to continue.
- Pay the registration fee of ₦2,000 online using the available payment options (please note: extra bank charges may apply).
- After payment, upload scanned copies of your required documents in .jpg format. Each file should be between 120KB and 150KB in size.
- Take a moment to review all the information you’ve entered to ensure it’s accurate.
- When everything looks good, click “Finish” to submit your application.
- Download and print your confirmation slip; you’ll need it for the screening.
Registration Deadline
The Akwa Ibom State University Post-UTME registration portal will be open from Monday, 21st July 2025 to Friday, 29th August 2025.
All interested candidates are strongly advised to complete their registration before the deadline. Once the portal closes, no further applications will be accepted, and late applicants will not be considered for admission, regardless of their UTME score.
