Eligibility Requirements For SUMAS Post-UTME Screening 2025/2026
The State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Igbo-Eno, Enugu State is now accepting applications for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening. However, before you begin your application, it’s important to make sure you meet the eligibility requirements. Read the following carefully:-
- To be eligible to apply, you must have scored at least 150 in the 2025 UTME.
- You must have chosen SUMAS as your first choice during your JAMB registration.
- If you did not choose SUMAS as your first choice, but are interested in gaining admission into the university, you can still apply. However, you must first log in to your JAMB profile and change your first-choice institution to SUMAS through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
- All candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and Physics.
- For candidates applying for Medicine and Surgery, all five credits must be obtained in one sitting only. This means your results must come from one exam session (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
- For other courses at SUMAS, the five credits can be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- These results must come from any recognized examination body such as WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or an approved equivalent.
Note: Every candidate applying to SUMAS must upload their O’Level results to their JAMB CAPS profile by visiting efacility.jamb.gov.ng. Failure to upload your result means you will not be considered for admission, even if you meet all other requirements.
