The University of Ibadan (UI) has officially opened its admission portal for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise. The portal will be active from Monday, July 21, 2025, to Saturday, August 17, 2025.
This admission window is open to both UTME candidates who scored 200 and above in the 2025 JAMB, and Direct Entry applicants who meet the university’s admission criteria. All applications are to be submitted online through the official portal at www.admissions.ui.edu.ng.

How Much Is the UI Post-UTME Form 2025/2026?
The total cost of the University of Ibadan Post-UTME and Direct Entry form is ₦5,000. This amount covers a portal access fee of ₦3,000 and a screening fee of ₦2,000. All payments are to be made through the official UI admission portal in favour of the University of Ibadan.
Candidates can make the payment using any of the available options provided on the portal. You can pay directly online using your ATM card (debit or credit), make a bank transfer through your internet banking platform, or generate a payment slip from the portal and take it to any designated bank to pay over the counter.
After completing the payment, it is important to print out the payment success receipt from the portal, as it serves as proof of payment and may be required later during the screening or admission process.
Eligibility Requirements for University of Ibadan Post-UTME Form 2025/2026
All applicants must meet certain basic requirements depending on whether they are applying through UTME or Direct Entry. The requirements for the University of Ibadan Post UTME Form 2025 are clearly outlined below to help you determine if you qualify before proceeding with your application.
For UTME Candidates
- You must be at least 16 years old by 30th September, 2025. If you won’t be 16 by then, you are not eligible for admission.
- You must have scored 200 or above in the 2025 UTME.
- You must have the correct O’Level subject combination for your chosen course.
- You must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects in WAEC or NECO.
- For applicants to the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy, these five credits must be obtained in one sitting.
- For other faculties, you can present two sittings, but you must have at least six (6) credits across the two results.
- You must use only WAEC or NECO results. The University does not accept IJMB or JUPEB results for admission.
For Direct Entry Candidates
- You must be at least 16 years old by 30th September, 2025.
- You must have obtained a valid qualification such as:-
- Cambridge A’ Level
- NCE (National Certificate in Education)
- OND (Ordinary National Diploma)
- HND (Higher National Diploma)
- Or a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.
- You must also possess the correct O’Level subject combination with the required number of credit passes (see the UTME section for O’Level requirements).

How to Apply for UI Post-UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form 2025/2026
If you have confirmed that you meet the admission requirements listed above, follow the steps below to apply for the University of Ibadan Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening:-
- Visit the Admission Portal at https://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng.
- Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as your username.
- Use your surname (in uppercase) as your initial password
- Once logged in, you’ll be required to make a total payment of ₦5,000, which covers the portal access fee, screening fee.
- Choose any of the payment options available on the portal.
- After a successful payment, print your payment receipt from the portal as proof of payment.
The Post-UTME examination will hold from Monday, 25th to Wednesday, 27th August, 2025. Candidates will be informed of their specific exam date and time via the email address or phone number provided during registration. Ensure you use valid contact details to receive important updates.
