Abstract

Abstract Language is the reflection of emotion and thought. Speech uses many types of words while outwardly conveying these feelings and ideas. The most important of these vocabulary types are those that constitute the basis of the sentence. The verbs are the type of word that informs the formation, the aktionsart, the action verb and the circumstances depending on the time and space. In the study, the subject of the aktionsart, the modality and the polysemy has been studied. In fact, aktionsart is objective and a qualification that exists on the basis of the verb infinitive. There is no subjective interest in talking and hearing. There are times and types related to mode. Appearance is subjective. There are different meanings in which the speaker or the hearing loads a fictional verb. According to the additions to the verb, the appearance is evaluated according to the context in which the verb forms the other words in the sentence.The verbs, in terms of aktionsart, appear to have been used in functions such as beginning, endurance, ending, according to their tense suffixes when taken. The topic of linguistics, which is the controversial subject of controversial issues, is also the subject of the article. In this subject, there are different opinions which evaluate the mode as the attitude and opinion of the person who speaks, indicating that there is no interest in the modal time, besides the opinions connecting to the concepts of mode, time and person.In this study, Johanson, Dilaçar, Palmer's view was taken as the basis, while the concept of modality and aktionsart was evaluated. According to this view, the modality is expressed as a grammatical form which is formed according to the various mental states of the human being, intention and desire, except time. Aktionsart is evaluated according to the functions of beginning, ending, continuity according to the tense suffixes when the verb is taken. The other side of the work is the issue of meaning. In this article, in which eleven works of Çağatay Turkısh period are examined, it is seen that the determined acts have a very meaningful structure. Polysemy can be expressed as a side meaning to be able to explain new concepts outside the basic meaning of a word. In this study, only eleven works have been examined from the eighteen works which examined in the work prepared by me and named as Structure and Polysemy in the verbs that have verb derivational affix from verb the Chagatai Turkısh. İn this study, were used root verbs detected ın this eleven works. These verbs, besides polysemy, have also been evaluated from the point of view of the aktionsart and modality. In eleven works, it was determined that nineteen verb were used in sixty two meanings. It has been found that the nineteen verb are most often used in the start and end function (8), the least continuity, the start (1)function.
