Abstract
Çocuk dergileri, eğitici ve bilgilendirici işlevinin yanı sıra bazen bir eğlence aracı bazen ise çocukları farklı alanlara teşvik edici içeriğe sahiptirler. Eğlendirirken öğretmeyi, sorgulayarak araştırmayı ve çocuklara sistematik düşünme becerilerini kazandırabilmeyi amaç edinen aynı zamanda çocukların kişisel sosyal gelişimini destekleyen kitle iletişim araçlarından biridir. Bu çalışmada, yayın hayatında kısa süreli de olsa bir izi olan ve uzun yıllardan itibaren yayımlanarak günümüze ulaşabilen çocuk dergileri tespit edilerek tablo halinde listelenmiştir. Daha sonra ise çocukların bilişsel, dil ve sosyal gelişimlerine katkıda bulunan edebi türlerin çocuk üzerindeki etkilerinden söz edilmiştir. Çocuk bu türler aracılığıyla merak ve keşfetme arzusunu giderirken aynı zamanda kendini ifade etme becerisini ve sistematik düşünme becerilerini geliştirebilmektedir. İnceleme alanında ise günümüzde yayınlanan çocuk dergileri arasından belirlenen bazı kriterler neticesinde Araştırmacı Çocuk, Bilge Çocuk, Bilim Çocuk ve Mavi Kırlangıç dergileri seçilmiştir. Dergiler, ele aldıkları temalar ve faaliyet alanları bakımından çocuk dünyasına bakış noktasında, özellikle dil ve edebiyat açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Dergilerin kapsadığı konular ve bu konuları ele alışta edebi metinlere ayırdıkları yer irdelenmiştir. Bu dergilerdeki edebi metinler, fırsat eğitimi gerçekleştirmekte, çocuğun sadece dil becerilerini değil düşünme kabiliyetini de etkilemektedir. Bu nedenle hayati önem taşıyan bu metinlerin dil yeterliliği yanında mantık ve tutarlılık, bilimsel gerçeklik, planlı ilerleme yeterliğinde yayımlanmış olmaları beklenmektedir.

Abstract
In addition to their educational and informative function, children's magazines are sometimes a means of entertainment and sometimes they have content that encourages children in different fields. It is one of the media tools that aims to teach while entertaining, to research by questioning, and to help children gain systematic thinking skills, while also supporting the personal social development of children. In this study, children's magazines that have had a short-term trace in their publication life and have been published for many years have been identified and listed in a table. Then, the effects of literary genres that contribute to the cognitive, lingual, and social development of children are mentioned. Through these genres, the child can satisfy his curiosity and desire to explore, while at the same time improving his self-expression skills and systematic thinking skills. In the study zone, as a result of some determined criteria among the children's journals published today, the journals Researcher Child, Bilge Child, Bilim Child, and Mavi Kırİlk were selected. Magazines have been evaluated in terms of the themes and fields of activity they deal with, from the point of view of the world of children, especially in terms of language and literature. The subjects covered by the magazines and the place they allocate to literary texts in dealing with these subjects have been examined. The literary texts in these magazines provide opportunities education and affect not only the language skills of the child but also the thinking ability. For this reason, these texts, which are of vital importance, are expected to be published in terms of logic and consistency, scientific reality, and planned progress, as well as linguistic competence.
